MPEG Streamclip is mighty and a high-quality video converter, player and editor for various video formats for MPEG, transport streams, iPod and QuickTime. Now this application can also be used as a DivX editor, a movie ed and an encoding machine. You can also use MPEG Streamclip to open and play many movie formats including MPEG files and transport streams, edit them with Cut, Copy, Paste and Trim, set In/Out points and convert these into muxed or demuxed files or export them to QuickTime, AVI, MPEG-4 and DV files with professional quality, so you can easily import these in a DVD authoring tool to use them with many other applications or devices.

The video conversion is performed in YUV colour space where you can choose to scale a video to any frame size using professional 2D-FIR scaler (better than bicubic), and you can also leave it unscaled. Other optional video processing features are powerful motion-adaptive deinterlacer, field dominance converter, chroma deinterlacer and option to perform interlaced scaling instead of progressive scaling. The audio can be converted to uncompressed or to AAC, MP2, IMA or AMR using the high-quality MP2/AC3/MP1/PCM built-in decoders of MPEG Streamclip and it is also kept in perfect sync with the video using timekeeping system.

The program can convert MPEG-2 transport streams to muxed MPEG-2 files for immediate burning at full quality along with most DVD authoring applications; it can also demux MPEG-1, MPEG-2 files and transport streams having MPEG, AC3, PCM audio to M2V & AIFF (M1A or AC3) files, for immediate burning with full quality with DVD authoring applications and a unique demuxing option has been made available for use in QuickTime Pro. This application doesn’t work well with M2V files. However, the app can write a particular "unscaled" M2V file which preserves full video quality.

Installation->

  1. After your is complete, head towards the s folder on your PC.

  2. Run the setup file, if prompted by Control, click on yes.

  3. Go through the installation and changes settings as per your preferences and click on Install.

  4. Once the installation is complete, search for the application in your Windows search and run the application.
